Shade & Base Lamps

The lanterns come from a process that I developed in my architecture degree at the Welsh School of Architecture (Cardiff University). The concept of the design was that it creates a different kind of relationship with physical things. By creating a printable file that had the information within it to become a lantern through a making process that is familiar to most, in this case casting in a mould, anyone could use the file and cast their own lantern relatively easily.
